In a surprise move Killington Resort has announced that Killington Resort & Pico Mountain are being sold by POWDR to a group of local inversors.
Sources report that Powdr also plans to put some of its other ski resort propertiessuch as Eldora, Mt. Bachelor, and SilverStar on the market. Officials at POWDR have gone on the record saying “other multi-mountain ski companies were welcome to bid on the three resorts” and that they expect the sales to be completed “over the coming weeks.”
POWDR's skiing interests now include:
- Boreal Ski Area, California
- Copper Mountain Resort, Colorado
- Eldora Mountain Resort, Colorado
- Gorgoza Tubing Park, Utah
- Mt. Bachelor, Oregon
- SilverStar Resort, Canada
- Soda Springs Ski Area, California
- Woodward Park City, Utah
